The first time I heard this album was on vinyl and I remember that this was no ordinary album when it came to the low end content. The highlight of this album is of course the first track "Cat People (putting out fire) by David Bowie. An incredible rendering with highly explosive percussions and a base line to match. An excellent track to test any system for dynamics.This original track is not available on any other Bowie albums but on the soundtrack. Others are redone and not the same. Besides the title track there are some instrumentals which are very appealing and enjoyable.I bought this album solely on the merit of the title track as this single track is worth the cost of the entire cd.
