I purchased a regular cone from the vets office to help keep my cat from scratching his infection on his ear. He seemed miserable when wearing it. He would walk backwards, unable to eat, and seemed really sad . That’s when I decided to purchase one of these on Amazon, and wow ! Instant difference . My cat is able to walk, run, and eat while wearing this! And he has not attempted to take it off. He also sleeps on it, so I’d like to think he’s comfortable while wearing it. Ditch that old “cone of shame” to this very cute vibrant colored cone! Thank me laterOur cat has allergies and this cone stopped him from licking his hot spots. It's really soft and not too heavy and acts as a pillow when he takes nap. It can get wet when your pet drinks water but easy to wash and air dry. She is a troublemaker and got her plastic cone off in the car on the way home- she has had this on for about a week now with no problems! I love that the tightness is adjustable so I can make sure it’s tight enough she won’t get it off but not to tight to be uncomfortable.Honestly the cuteness factor was out of the park. It worked well for keeping your cat from scratching their face but I would not recommend this as a medical cone it will not protect them from finding ways to rub said face on things. I had this for my cat that had a facial wound he seemed to not mind wearing it and had absolutely no issues with moving about, eating or drinking. I have a regular cone for night time, but for day time being able to eat and drink comfortably this is a good choice.Works pretty well and stops my cat from ripping his skin off. Sadly, my cat is a bit of a fighter and a clever little brat, so he finds ways to get it off of him. Because of that, I often feel that I need to tighten the noose a bit too much and it scares me. I do make sure i can still fit a finger between the doughnut an his neck and that seems to do the trick.Last thing to note, although not sure if he does it on purpose to spite me, but it easily gets wet and absorbs water when he goes to drink from his water fountain.Overall, nice product, would definitely recommend.I loved how easy this was to clean. My cat is an over groomer, and he would pick bald spots from his fur. This helped keep him from being able to reach them and he finally healed up. My only real complaint is that the clasp to cinch down the collar was easily loosened by my big boy, meaning I still had to keep an eye on him. Overall, satisfied with its effectiveness!I was pretty skeptical on this item, but I am amazed how effective it was. Like others, the plastic cones were very bad on the kittens and they fought to take them off. I used recovery suits and then the cones. From both, I saw the kittens adapted better to these cones. They were soft enough for them to sleep with, loose enough for them to be able to move around and effective in not allowing them to lick themselves. They didn't fight the cones which helped a lot.My only concern was stretch since there was a small line between too tight and slightly loose. One was able to wiggle out of it, but I eventually found the sweet spot so she couldn't anymore.A highly recommended item at the end of the day.
