The shorts are extremely lightweight and thin as opposed to thick gym shorts they are perfect summer gym shorts for pickup basketball and they are not nut huggers that kids seem to be buying these days they hang below the knee I was born at 1985 and that's how shorts are supposed to be worn I would not be surprised if next year kids are wearing thongs that's how high shorts are getting above the knee it's repulsive at something nobody wants to look at get back to the '90s style we all grew up on. Great size fit around the waist really nicely and are long and have a great clear color
